A Visit to Five-in-Philly

Five-in-Philly is this wonderful blog you can visit at http://fiveinphilly.blogspot.com. It details the lives of my brother Andrew and his wife Audra and the five years they'll be living in Philadelphia while Andrew completes his medical residency.

THE CHARACTERS
LOLA-THE DOG OF MANY TALENTS
ADDY-THE ILLUSIVE BUT LOVABLE
ANDREW & AUDRA-THE CRAZY TOUR GUIDES

We arrived in Philly Friday afternoon. That evening we went out for supper at one of their favorite local restaurants and to a local pub. Saturday we saw historic Philadelphia.

Independence Hall

The Liberty Bell

Christ Church. This is Uncle Bobby's pew, better know as Robert Morris who signed the Declaration of Independence and is buried on the church grounds.

Betsy Ross House

After our historical tour we had to try a famous Philly Cheesesteak. It was quite delicious and huge!
Sunday was game day, Phillies Vs Cardinals. It was an awesome game to watch. There were 5 home runs and high fives flyin' all over the place.

On our way home we stopped at the Rocky Statue. Check out those guns!

To end our fun filled weekend we played a traditional card game of boys vs. girls pitch. Sadly the boys won but the girls will come back with avengence next time.

Thanks for the great weekend Andrew and Audra! You can tell Addy and Lola we'll be back to visit before the U.S. Open is in Philly.

If you'd like to see more pictures of our weekend in Philadelphia visit the Five in Philly blog.
